PulseChain, Ethereum’s hard fork, launch is imminent and everyone is asking what is the official date for the mainnet release. Now everyone is waiting to get the copies of their tokens on PulseChain so let’s see when it will be possible to do it.
There are a lot of rumours around concerning the PulseChain launch but the truth is that no one knows the exact date. Based on some of the metrics we’ll list below though, we can say that PulseChain should be launching soon and you can’t buy its PLS tokens until it happens.

Richard Heart’s statement
In his latest YouTube live from May 10th, Richard Heart stated: “the mainnet will launch in May and possibly within 14 days”.
It can be assumed that PulseChain may be launched anytime from now on, and getting tokens out of the exchanges and leaving them on-chain ready for a snapshot should be the priority. Only the tokens that are in user wallets will get copied to PulseChain. The exchange may or may not honor the airdrop. The bridges to Ethereum open a day or two after the mainnet launch.
The Official Sacrifice phase
PulseChain sacrifice phase started on July 15, 2021, 04:50 UTC, and ended on August 03, 2021, at 04:50 UTC. $25M has been raised and donated to SENS.org medical research. A total of $670,007,371 have been sacrificed. This is the aggregate of sacrifices made from Ethereum, Binance Chain, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, Polygon, Ethereum Classic, and Ethereum Optimism.
PulseChain Testnet
PulseChain testnet v2b is live with validator rotation, registration, and staking. Users can connect MetaMask to view a copy of all their ERC20 tokens. This is the third version of the testnet. Sometime in the future, this testnet will be upgraded to v3, and it will remain as the official PulseChain testnet parallel to the mainnet.
PulseChain block explorer is available on testnet, staking and bridging mechanisms are working, and trading on PulseX exchange is ongoing.
